tacFS is the company filesystem beneath the work: a place for source files, attachments and the documents Flows produce. It keeps that material organised, versioned and governed, forming the file foundation of the company corpus.
Keep the source as well as the conclusion
A report, its attachments and an investigation's findings have different uses. tacFS gives each a place in the company filesystem, with references that let later work follow a conclusion back to its evidence. New analysis can return to the permitted source material.
Make each change traceable
Files have immutable versions. A Flow's recorded result declares the documents it publishes or changes, and the platform applies those changes. tacFS holds the company files; Run records retain the work and accepted outcomes behind them. Together they provide the retained foundation for the brain.
Keep access with the information
Source files, private customer evidence and shared company documents can have different audiences. Encrypted storage, scoped grants and publication rules determine what a person or agent can use. Keeping a file and making its contents discoverable are separate choices.
Give future methods something solid to use
A better model may find a pattern that an earlier assessment missed. A better preparation method may make documents easier to search. The retained files give new processing Flows source material to work from, with each new result keeping its own version and history.
tacFS includes encrypted documents, immutable file versions, scoped access, declared publication and governed search. Anquet's support ingestion uses these foundations for private evidence and selected shared material.
We are developing richer ways to browse and work with company files through tacApp and Bench, alongside new ways to build useful brains from the retained corpus.
